How long should the video segment of The SeeV™ be?
- No less than 1.5 minutes but no more than 3.5 minutes.
What should I do if I don’t like my recordings?
- Continue until you make one that satisfies you! But do remember that if your finished version looks too rehearsed you will lose the essence of this style of presentation, namely to showcase the real you.
How should I dress on camera?
- The answer is easy: Dress the same as you would for a job interview.
Can I have a friend or family member asking me questions when recording my video?
- Of course, in fact we strongly recommend it. This might also make it easier for you to not get lost in your video presentation. Most choose not to have the person that is interviewing be seen on video.
Can I add attachments such as my CV, psychometric reports, references etc?
- Yes. Just like with a traditional job application, such attachments are a must. You may learn about uploading these documents by going to our 'How to' section.
Does The SeeV™ have more than one presentational template?
- No, but ongoing development of the application may allow this.

- The SeeV™ has its own secure server. Who actually views your SeeV™ is determined by you.

- Everyone you send your link to will contact you directly. We are not a recruiting company or a job website; we are just the service provider.
Can I post my SeeV on other websites such as MySpace.com, Facebook.com, LinkedIn.com or my own private website?
- Sure, use your private website or social networking sites to post your video link. This will help you address more people and introduce you to a wider audience.
What hardware is needed?
- All you need is a computer with Windows, a sound card, a web cam with a microphone (built-in or external), and you’re good to go.
What operating system do I need?
- To use The SeeV™ you need a Windows operating system, like Windows 2000, Windows XP or Windows Vista.
What is the recommended bandwidth for using The SeeV™?
- We recommend a high-speed connection to ensure that The SeeV™ runs effectively on your PC or laptop.
In which format should the attachments be saved and uploaded?
- Formats such as Word and pdf are fine.
How can I be sure that The SeeV™ “file” isn’t too big for recipient to open?
- No problem. You don't send a huge file with The SeeV™. Instead, we just provide you with a web link. Therefore, there is no issue over file size.
